This year the USC Trojans lacrosse team is coming off of a very successful season. USC has a lot of talented players so it’s not all that surprising that the team is ranked this high in the rankings. The men’s lacrosse team is one of the best teams in the nation and it has a ton of talented players. Not only does the team play well and be a good team, but it’s also a competitive team.
The Trojans certainly made a statement last season as they won the NCAA Division I lacrosse championship. But they didn’t just win. They were the first team in the nation to have a winning season. They didn’t just win any single game, they defeated Michigan State, Penn State, and Colorado State. The rest of the conference was a big disappointment this year.
The Trojans finished 16-14 overall. They were a little inconsistent this season and lost to both UCLA and USC in the tournament. But they still got to play the winner of the conference, Ohio State. The Buckeyes are in the conference again this year, and so it was a big game for the Trojans. In fact, they took down Ohio State twice, winning both games.
The Big Ten West was a little disappointing this season. They finished 16-16 overall. They lost in the conference championship to OSU. But they still got to play the winner of the conference, Purdue. The Boilermakers finished 8-10, out of the conference tournament. They also lost in the conference championship to the Buckeyes.
They lost against a team that finished third in the conference in points and fourth in field goal percentage. They also lost to a team that finished in the top five in the conference in points and assists. But they did get to play the winner of the conference, Purdue, who finished 7-10 overall.
The conference schedule is probably the worst thing that Purdue has done this season. It was pretty bad this season, but it’s also pretty bad.
