I have seen plenty of evidence that this is indeed so, but it seems more likely that he was really too incompetent to care for himself. If he couldnt care for himself, he wouldnt be able to care for the hospital. If the hospital couldnt care for itself, then it would be in a very bad situation.
The issue here is that, although he was just a weak person in a very bad situation, he had the misfortune to be ill. But because he was ill he was unable to care for himself, or care for the hospital. He was in a very bad situation and the only thing he could do was to try to care for himself.
What a sad story. Our hearts break for this poor man. The health department here at the city of juneau was once a good place to go to for most everything. It is the place you go if there is a major emergency and you need medical care fast. But now, with all the improvements we have made in the past year, it is still awful.
