By I have a long history of not liking basketball, but watching my favorite team, the University of North Alabama, win their third WAC championship this year was a great way to start the summer. The team started the season the same way they had all season, playing at home. It was their first time being home since their first season in the WAC, and they played well the first ten games of the season.
They followed that up with a 20-game winning streak at home that ended up being the second longest in the conference, and they ended up with a 29-point lead over their closest competition in the season’s final 10 games. They are now on their way to their third straight WAC championship.
The question is whether they can stay that close for the rest of the season. Well, they aren’t the only team that’s had their season go this far, but they’re the only team that’s gone from the second half of the season to the championship. I feel like when I think about the next few years of college basketball, the next few years of men’s basketball, that they’ll be the type of team that won’t go this far.
The fact is, the final 10 games of the season are in the books. In fact, they are the only championship game to be played in the regular season. The only two times the conference tournament has had a championship game was in 1997 and 2002. It certainly looks like the season will be a wild ride next few weeks.

It’s a team that’s going to try and win three games in the tournament in the first round. Meanwhile, the South Atlantic Conference tournament will be played in an eight-team field. That’s the story of the South Atlantic Conference tournament right there. The league has a lot of teams. One of the biggest names in the conference is the University of South Carolina, which will play at the College of Charleston. And the other big name is a private school in the Mid-Atlantic Conference, where a couple of teams will be playing each other in this tournament. And they’ll be playing on the same bracket as the South Atlantic teams.
South Carolina and the Mid-Atlantic Conference are about to get their first real-life tournament. For those of you who don’t know, the game of men’s basketball, like the other sports, is played on a court on a college campus in a gymnasium. One of the biggest advantages of college basketball is the fact that you can actually play on a regular-season schedule.
So the winner of this tournament will have to be the team that gets to play the most games. So while South Carolina will have to play South Carolina twice, they will also play a number of others. The South Carolina mid-Atlantic teams will play each other once. And the winner of that game, the one that will be the South Carolina team that will likely be the one that will win the tournament, will be the team that will be playing in November.
