I just read an article about a company that advertises CBD as an over-the-counter drug. I don’t know what it’s called. I’m not sure if that’s legal. What I do know is that I am tired of hearing about these companies selling the “latest and greatest” products. It’s always the latest and greatest that gets these companies in trouble. I have heard of several companies that have been banned from selling CBD products in the US.

The legal status of CBD is a hard one to answer. If it is indeed a cannabinoid, the federal government considers it to be a Schedule I drug with no current cure. In the US, states have passed more restrictive laws, so it’s possible that CBD could be classified as a Schedule II drug with some kind of treatment, but that would be very difficult to prove.
A lot of states have passed “cannabis-like” laws which makes the CBD legal, but it is still illegal for people to grow it in their own backyards. This is a huge problem because it makes it extremely difficult to do research on the potential medicinal benefits of CBD. This is a huge problem because the federal government is very reluctant to allow states to pass such laws.
In case you were wondering where the state or federal government is in the whole “cannabis is a Schedule II drug” argument, here’s the thing: the federal government doesn’t have the power to classify drugs, so even if you get the drug legal in your state, you can still be charged and punished if the federal government finds out about it.
