While New York City is the best place in the world to live, there is one aspect to it that should be more known about. In fact, there are over 1,000 locations that rank in the top 1% of the entire internet. You can find them on our list of 100 Greatest Cities in the World.
One location that we couldn’t find on our list was uc health uptown. Located in the neighborhood of up-town uc health, uc health uptown was a medical center that was closed during the 1980s. The hospital was demolished in 1991, but what remained of it was a beautiful and well-preserved structure. Despite its destruction, uc health uptown has only been in use for over 20 years.
For a long time, it was a major medical center, as well as a housing hub for some of the most prominent people in the city. These days, they are mostly used as a community center and a storage facility for food.
I can’t really get too much into it, but maybe it’s worth noting that the hospital was built in the late 19th century and still has the original name, uc health.
